Day 12: Glee Tree, Whee!!!

Four more days til Christmas -- my favorite holiday. EVER. -- and this Gleek received two of the best gifts she could've asked for (and no, sadly it is not news that they cancelled the FOUR month hiatus and will now premiere in January to appease the folks that were annoyed with the wannabe Sing-Offers, see? they don't have cute fandom names like us!); Glee Buttons AND a Glee keychain!

My best gal pal (repping in the CO! Mulan, love you soo much!) had sent it in a separate package from her first gift sent to yours truly and boy was I thrown off and completely skyrocketed towards fuckin space over them!

Needless to say I had yet to determine how best to display the buttons (my keychain, however, will go everywhere with me, as it is attached to my wallet, hehe)... and I still have no idea!  However, as I was partaking in my annual tradition of watching Eloise at Christmastime (starring the delightful Sofia Vassilieva and even more enchanting Julie Andrews, oh and yes the splendid Gavin Creel), my eyes spied upon my yet-to-be decorated pink Christmas tree I had purchased at Borders Express (shout-out to Jean and Scot! woot!)... and IDEA!!!!

So *drummer boy roll please*...

TADA!!!!!

Slightly tacky, I know.  But do I give a flyin' fig newton?  Hell No!  And of course I took other pics of this wonderful Glee Tree minus my self-promoting website...

This calls for some caroling! Everybody!

I highly suggest, if you haven't downloaded this single yet, that you do so off of iTunes.  Why?  Because the sales proceeds will go to the GRAMMY FOUNDATION

Moving forward... today I had not only rewatched the episode "Ballads", but I had read over a blog listing their Top Ten Glee performances (article found HERE).  Which, of course, made me ponder and wonder "Hmm... what would my Top Ten Glee performances be?"

And quite honestly I'll have to do a lot of thinking, debating with myself (and hopefully other fellow Gleekers I know and love), and rewatching to determine that list.  So, of course, that is to be a future blog topic/project for yours truly to do!

To also keep this Gleeker busy, I think I'll also do a Top Five (or maybe Ten? does she have ten?) Sue Lines or something to that effect.  Oh!  Maybe even a Top Ten Best Glee Lines!  The possibilities are endless!

So, to end this Christmas-slash-gleeful post, I will actually end it with this musical number that is NOT Glee-related, however I am absolutely enamored with not just the idea of Glee doing this song (most specifically, maybe seeing Rachel doing this with either Finn or Will) but I'm also crazy for the talented Gavin Creel!

To quote the adorable Eloise, "I absolutely ADORE Christmas!"... and GLEE!
