Day 21: Holy Crap On A Cracker

... I can't believe I'm going to say this but;

I have something better to look forward to than the return of Glee!

I'll give you a moment to get over the shock.

Day 20: And the clouds parted as I held the DVD in my hand...

as the heavenly angels cried with joy.

As opposed to them crying with sadness because the balloon popped. Heh.

Day 19: Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I'll buy GLEE Tomorrow...

Not the actual series, of course (because the fates aren't that kind), but the lovely DVD here:

*sniffles* So close, yet so... far...

Day 18 going on 19: Don't Stop Breaking Free

Wow.  That sounds like a bad pop mash-up if I ever heard of one... Especially if the two songs being combined are the Glee cast version's "Don't Stop Believing" and High School Musical's "Breaking Free."

Day 17 going on 18: Yes we cane!

With 2009 coming to a close, I've been noticing that the traditonal "Let's make a Top Whatever Number List that celebrates whatever, and make it based upon our own opinion in hopes that the masses agree" posting/publications have been popping up lately.

So of course I decided to make one myself!

See?

Day 16: Merry GLEEkmas!

And now, boys and girls, let's gather round... for this is what had happened when the Glee cast hosted re-runs and hilarity abounds...

Day 15: OMGlee... When Fandoms collide!

So, besides being Glee-obsessed, I do have other fandoms.

Which is shocking considering that I've taken a test and found that...

Total Gleek!
Good for you! You love Glee like a girl loves chocolate. If anyone dares to get in your hair when you are watching Glee, they will wish that they didnt!
Personality Test Results

But I digress...

Day 12: Glee Tree, Whee!!!

Four more days til Christmas -- my favorite holiday. EVER. -- and this Gleek received two of the best gifts she could've asked for (and no, sadly it is not news that they cancelled the FOUR month hiatus and will now premiere in January to appease the folks that were annoyed with the wannabe Sing-Offers, see? they don't have cute fandom names like us!); Glee Buttons AND a Glee keychain!

Day 11: She's rolling with the heavenly homies...

So today Hollywood had lost yet another one of its stars, and my generation (80's baby, spent most of my teen years in the 90's) had lost a wonderful talent that is Miss Brittany Murphy.

Day 10: Maybe they sang a Beyonce song?

So with the Saints losing after an immense 13 game winning streak (now leaving the Colts at a 14-0 lead) to the Cowboys (score of 24-17), one has to wonder...

Day 8 going on 9: My fragile GLEEk heart...

I'm just... I don't...

You know what? Let me illustrate by progression...

This is how I felt an hour or so ago...
1.

Day 8: Two, four, Six, Eight, Fanfic reading is really GREAT!

Obviously this blog is not just about Glee, but also as my own outlet to talk about it and cope with the fact that I have to wait FOUR months until it premieres with the second half of the first season.

Surprisingly I do have a life outside of this wonderful show.  I work, I'm in a relationship with a wonderful man (who, even more shocking, enjoys the show alongside me as he is the type of guy that -- prior to dating me -- wasn't the type to sit through a musical, much less a show whose main draw is the musical numbers), I have friends outside the silicone-created virtual atmosphere (though sadly I seem to comunicate with them more online than face-to-face), and I even have other hobbies besides that of thinking, humming, watching, waiting oh so not patiently for Glee.

Day 7 going to 8: Chillin' like a villan

Admist all the "Yahoo!" and the "Woot Woot!" and the "Hell to the mutherfuckin' YEAH!"... a chillz of a video premiered that not only made us adore Mark Salling (aka the man w/ the mohawk, Puck!) even more, but I honestly have to say it made me feel exactly how I feel towards the show itself; Filled with happiness and -- yep, I'm soo going there that I've bought a map, bitches! -- glee!

Day 4 going on 5: This show deserves a GOLD STAR next to its logo!

"You may laugh because every time I sign my name I put a gold star after it, but it's a metaphor and metaphors are important.  My gold stars are a metaphor for me being a star."
- Rachel Berry (Pilot)

Day Four wasn't as bad as the first day of this Glee-less Winter...

Day 3 cont.: Why TV will suck w/o Glee

Before I rant, I must post/watch something that will make me happy once all is said and bitched...

Day 3: Life has yet to suck without Glee

OMG OMG OMG... this totally deserves an insert of Glee-ness...

(*cue Queen's We are the Champions*...
Yeah, yeah, I know they haven't yet won Regionals.
I can dream y'know)

Day 2: Woke up with a tune in my heart

"Glee is about what's in your heart, not what's coursing through your veins."
-Will Schuester (Vitamin D)

AM:  Woke up, day hasn't even started, and I'm already humming a tune in my head ("True Colors", Hairography).  That was either the last song I had listened to before bed, or a sign that it is to be the first song I hear this morning... At this rate, I might as well cast a personal "DJ" in my head -- odds are he'll look like Artie but can rock it hard like Puck.

Day 1: So it begins...

"There is nothing ironic about show choir!" -Rachel Berry (Pilot)

And so had begun my downward spiral towards my Glee-obsession... Ladies and gentlemen, they say that one of the first sure signs of having a problem is admitting one has a problem.

Hello, my name is Iris and GLEE is my "problem."
